Red Light Planet

It was late night an a young man had just finished his late shift at his job a a small 24/7 hour diner and it was about 11Pm as he was leaving and swapping over with his co-worker. It was the year 2118 and there was no trees, no plants left, just tall building and hover cars flying around above and bright lights of the city always on and people going about their way.

"Night Simon!" called out his co-worker.

Simon-put on his jacket* night Ralph *he headed on out to the streets* Thought the shift would never end *he stretched* get home and get some sleep*


Simon Trex, mid 20's, had dropped out of college for personal reasons, currently employed at the diner for over 3 months, living in a small apartment living paycheck to paycheck.


Simon-sighed* think I'll stop at the Shopping Mart and pick up a drink for the way back

he area he lived in was the more.......lesser areas where people just BARELY make a living. But the diner helped give something for rent and othe rlittle things....but luxuries.....were very much that, hard to get and very much a rarity.

Simon's apartment was near the lower cities road to the local cheap food but also where the local hookers hung out and got clients.

Simon-yawned walking down the road and seeing a few of the girls* Hello Saline, find any good clients tonight?

"Nah, they are all being stingy tonight." she sighed, "Say you up for a bang?" she giggled.

Simon-unfortunately I'm not in the financial situation to do it, plus work was hell tonight

"Awww that's sad." he pouted, "Come back when you get some cash, get you going crazy like last time." she giggled, blowing him a kiss as she walked down the street.

Not far away was his simple apartment, but there was a new face in the street. A red haired woman in a long coat was looking at something on her watch, she looked out of place in this run down place, she looked too posh.

Simon-saw her* Excuse me? are you looking for someone or somewhere?

"Hm? No, just checking something, No need for help." she said, looking worried.

Simon-o...ok...well if I were you I'd be careful...wearing something flashy and rich like that in this area would attract some unwanted attention from people

"....I am not worried." she said dryly. She then got heading to an area which as a dead end.

Simon-Umm excuse me...that place doesn't lead anywhere

She smirked at him and continued on, a blink of a light happened after she went down the alley.

Simon-was shocked by the light and blocked the light* the hell?

There was no sign of the trench coat lady after the light had flashed.

Simon-....I....should I...deal with this? *he looked around*...I'm way too tired for this...I'm heading home *He walked into his apartment building* we'll see if it's there later

The next morning....

The ally way where the trench coat lady went down suddenly got another flash of light and the same lady came out, walking out casually, while looking at her watch, "Same time tonight then." she said to herself.

Simon-was asleep, he was working late again before his days off started*

A bit later, the lady came but and found his apartment and pushed a paper under his door. "Good luck, get some pep in your step." she smirked.

Simon-slowly awoke* ugh...*he sat up* what the heck, how long did I sleep

The paper was sitting a the foot of his front door. It was a simple folded piece of paper with a heart on in.

Simon-hmm? *he looked at it* Guess one of the girls is trying to get to me again

Once the note was opened, it read,

'I know you saw the light last night. If you want to see some excitement come to the same ally tonight and I'll show you something you will never want to go back from.'

Simon-looked confused* hmm...was that from that woman from last night?

That evening, the Woman in the Trench coat was waiting on the corner for him. Her hair up in a bun this time, "Got my note?" she smirked.
