Dragon Country

It was a clear day out in the lands of Sorr, where the hills were green and the forests just as lush. The sky held a sapphire blue and the people lived in relative peace....except for one country village, who had been having issues with a rare but dangerous occurrence, a dragon.

It had been killing and stealing cattle at least once a month and terrorising them away from the lake when it swam in its waters, making it hard and horrifying for the villagers.

Word of the dragon had spread to the Adventurer and Mercenary Guild with in the Capital City of Soril-Tan. Many were looking at the board and the dragon request had been up for a while....but none seemed brave enough to take it.

Hearing murmurers of a large but difficult quest one curious adventurer walked over to the bounty board pushing past others to see it.

"What's all this talk about a dragon?"

One elven girl archer merc looked to him, "Oh hey....long time no see stranger." she smirked, "Yeah this came up a fortnight ago....no one has taken it."

The Drakeblood knight Dorian crossed his arms and turned to the Elven Archer* Hmm...I've been dealing with Drakes lately...they're more mindless beasts, a Dragon has intelligence. This should be interesting *He smirked pulling the flyer down*

"DORKBlood you are crazy..." said the Elven Archer, known as Silvi Eulwood, they gave each other nicknames all the time, more fun and games than actually aggression.

Dorian-Someone has to deal with this thing, besides with how much I deal with drakes it's about time I finally work my way up. Though I'll need to pull out the fire shield just in case.

"You've dealt with Drakes a long time....sure you're not needing an extra pair of hands?" she asked. She looked to the reward, "......only 500 gold coins....not much for a dragon." she said.

Dorian-well...that's just for the quest, the scales and other things you gather from the dragon go for a lot more, if you want to join me you can, just be able to move fast if you do.

"Fuck you Dorkblood I am faster than you on FOOT." she smirked.

Dorian-well then little elf...I think we have a joint effort, we split the gold and the gear, how about it

"Very well." she smirked, "When do we leave?"

Dorian-as soon as we get our supplies and gear set, the town is in the east, should be a day or two walk.

"Tomorrow morning then. I'll go and get prepped." she smirked, "Later DOrkblood."

Dorian-yes yes little elf, I'll meet you at the village entrance *he smirked and went to officially take the quest and get the full information before heading out*

He was going by the brothel when on his way to the market, "Hey Dorian." the girls giggled.

Dorian-smiled* good evening ladies, unfortunately I have a big quest coming up so I need to prepare

"Awwwww we've not see you for weeks." they pouted, "We hoped we'd get a few of us in bed with you."

Dorian-I know I know, but I'm off to deal with a dragon, I need to make sure I'm fully prepared, but a victory party when I return...you can bet on that.

"We'll hold you to that handsome." they giggled and a couple blew him kisses.

Dorian smirked and headed on to his private house* Ok, I'll need to pack for the road, grab rations and potions.

One of the gear sellers he went to often was putting some items out the front, humming a little tune to herself. She was an old lady and she and her grandson ran the store. She spotted the familiar figure coming her way, "Well well, you are back huh Dorian?" she teased.

Dorian-not long I'm afraid, I'm heading out tomorrow for a Dragon quest...it'll be a nice change from Drakes, bigger rewards too

"Well then you're needed your usual supplies?"

Dorian-I will, probably throw in some extra, this is a lot more difficult the a normal Drake.

Tarla smiled "Sure thing, what do you need?" she asked. Then he got a kick in the butt, Tarla's grandson, who was a bit younger than him came out, "Going on a suicide mission Again?"

"Reith stop being a pain." said his grandmother.
